Richard Shorrocks

Richard Shorrocks

Administrator

Richard’s career journey began as a silver-service waiter in the Merchant Navy, where he worked on several ships, including the iconic QE2.

After spending five years travelling around the world, he made the decision to retrain for a career in the emerging IT industry, a time before the internet had become widely accessible. He worked for many years as a programmer on mainframe computers, specialising in banking and insurance systems in London’s financial sector.

In the early 2000s, seeking a quieter life away from the hustle of London, Richard shifted his focus and became involved with Tomorrow’s Talent on a part-time basis. As the business grew, so did his role, and over the course of 16 years, Richard now fully manages the administration side of the business. Today, he plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school and its studios.
